The ENT clinic of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of the University of Warsaw teaches medical students in the 5th year of study in two-week blocks. There are Czech doctors in eight circles, and foreign doctors in two circles with teaching in English.
The number of "teaching" hours, excluding preparation, was calculated last year as follows:
Teaching of Czech students - 256 hours of lectures, 232 hours of seminars, teaching of foreign students - 66 hours of lectures, 40 hours of seminars.
University of the third age 4 hours of lectures, postgraduate study - 52 days (416 hours).
Admission procedure 48 hours, examination - when calculating 45 minutes per student 180 and 20 hours for Czech and foreign students, consultation hours - estimated at 1 hour per teacher per class, 32 hours per year (foreign students have not yet used the consultation ). The activity of Czech students increased slightly compared to the past, clearly in connection with the effort to get a place.
Postgraduate education - at the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic of the UK, the sub-department of ENT IPVZ for children's issues is run, doctors come to us for internships before attestation in pediatric ENT, individually and before attestation in ENT 2nd degree.
In 1999, as part of the IPVZ, they were invited to attestations from ORL I.. and II. degree and an examiner from the pediatric ENT sub-department, 4 times there was associate professor MUDr. Z. Kabelka entrusted with conducting the certification exam, one certification in the field of pediatric otolaryngology was completed.
Professor MUDr. J. Fajstavr, Dr.Sc. continues to lead the University of the 3rd Age.
